Parrot Head Club for an evenin' of celebratin', socializin', and soul-searchin' with
cervezas, margaritas, limes (you can never have too many limes), and amigos
(not to mention, you can never have too many amigos).
We plan to celebrate outside on the upper deck, so plan accordin'ly. There
may be a phew surprises. (This is a no-host and Keet-/PHiT-phriendly event.)
As this is the "Year of the Can" -- our (5th) CANNIVERSARY -- your "ticket"
into the event is one can (phive is better) of phood per person. Otherwise,
a request of a PHIVE DOLLAR ($5.00) donation per person will be solicited to
support the IDAHO FOOD BANK.

Parrot Heads for an evening of Irish merriment. Montego Bay has
reserved the back porch for us and will be playing Buffett tunes until the
band starts. The band is Walter Ego who will begin at 9:00. See
you all there and don't forget your CAN.
MARDI GRAS - CASINO NIGHT

Join us for the 4th Annual Mardi Gras Party. The Casino will open at
7:00 and the music will start at 8:00. There will be a $10 cover with
your CAN and $15 cover without. Included in the cover, beside great
music are: chips for gambling, raffle prizes, Mardi Gras beads, and some
munchies to snack on. This is BYOB event so bring your favorite
drinks.
This a PHIT friendly event (Ages 13 and up only).
CHRISTMAS PARTY
December 2006
TVPHC had a great turn out for our 2006 Christmas Party. The White
Elephant gift exchange produced a wide variety of presents. There was
a few unexpected ones including old shoe polish, and of course the
traditional fruit cake. We all expect to see that same fruitcake show
up next year.

This year TVPHC really showed the true meaning of Christmas. The Club was able to give a less fortunate family a Christmas everyone deserves. With your donations, TVPHC was able to give them everything they needed and then some.

ADOPT A FAMILY
THANKSGIVING DINNER
November 2006
Through your member fees and cash donations, TVPHC gave a family a
Thanksgiving to remember. Working the Neighborhood Housing Service,
TVPHC was able to donate a Thanksgiving meal to a well deserving family.
PARROT HEADS AT TEN
THOUSAND VILLAGES
September 28th
In conjunction with Ten Thousand Villages, TVPHC is having a fundraiser for Arwen Renner. Fifteen percent of all purchase at Ten Thousand Villages on September 28th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM will be donated to Arwen's medical fund. (For those of you who don't know, Ten Thousand Villages is located in Hyde Park.) We will gather at the Garage for drinks during and after the event.
Although the turnout was sparse, we were able to raise about $85 for Arwen's medical funds. Thank you to the Parrot Heads that showed up.
CAMP PARROT HEAD
September 1st - 4th

Join your fellow Parrot Heads for a weekend of camping and relaxation.
Grab the Keets and the hounds, pack the Parrot-mobile and head to the
hills for a weekend full of fun. There will be games and events for
both Keets and adults. TVPHC will be cooking up "Cheeseburgers in
Idaho Paradise" along with hotdogs and the fixings on Saturday night.
For those that get up before 10:00 am on Sunday morning, the Club will be
providing a pancake breakfast. All other meals will be on your own.
There is a $10 per person ($30 per family) charge to cover the cost of the
campground, food and prizes.

The smoke may have been thick, but the party never stops. We had another fun Camp Parrot Head and the tradition will continue next year.

This event will be a must see next summer. The staff at Roaring Springs was amazing and so was Stars on the Water. The concert was on the platform behind the wave pool, which was a perfect setting. Next year we plan on selling tickets for the event and trying to have it on a Saturday afternoon. It will be a great time for the whole family.

We had a great turn out for our annual Boise Hawks fund raiser. This year we were raising money for the Idaho Special Olympics. With the help of Stars on the Water and Amy Lee we raised over $600 for our charity. Thanks for everyone's participation and help.
