Although we were scheduled to party on the deck, Tavern at Bown Crossing will accommodate us – rain or shine. So don’t let the weather keep you away. Just be prepared for anything.
The TVPHC Cinco de Mayo celebration is planned for May 5th at the Tavern at Bown Crossing (3111 S. Bown Way, Boise) located in Southeast Boise off ParkCenter Blvd. Phestivities begin at 5:00pm; the silent auction will begin at 7:00pm. As in years past, this is a no-host event (food and drink are on your own). We will be phlocking outside on the upper deck, and although the Tavern has propane fireplaces on the deck, you will still need to plan accordingly as weather dictates. This is a Keet- and PHiT-friendly event. Bring lots and lots of family, friends, coworkers. Also, feel free to invite anyone who has graciously donated items for the auction.
TVPHC’s charity for this year is the IDAHO HEROES ASSISTANCE FUND/OFFICER DOWN! FUND (Idaho Peace Officers’ Association). This fund assists families of injured law enforcement officers. (Percentages of the funds raised from this auction will be distributed to the IHAF/ODF to assist families as well as to TVPHC to help sponsor future charity events.)
